Haverhill, MA: Yvonne C. (Lalumiere) (Iannalfo) Houston, 78, a resident of Haverhill and a former resident of the Villages in Florida for ten years, died on March 20, 2015 at her home.
Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late George and Gilberta (Gauthier) Lalumiere, she attended Haverhill Public Schools and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1955.
Mrs. Houston was most recently employed as a Nanny for local Boxford families. She had also been previously employed first at Hytron Electronics in Newburyport, and later at Eastern Canvas and E.F.S Machine Shop in Haverhill.
A member of All Saints Parish, Mrs. Houston enjoyed playing bingo and shopping. She also enjoyed playing computer games and completing puzzles.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Iannalfo, III and his wife Norma of Seabrook, NH, a daughter, Karen Kemp and her husband Michael of Nottingham, NH, a sister, Cecile Smith of Salem, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Annette Auricchio.
There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Houston's Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 28 at 12 noon at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA.
