North Dartmouth, MA: Yvette F. (Duhamel) Deming, 82, a former resident of Atkinson, died January 7, 2021 in Fall River, MA.

Born and raised in Lowell, daughter of the late Arthur and Annette (Lavoie) Duhamel, she attended St. Louis School in Lowell and was employed at Western Electric Co., A T & T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies of North Andover, for thirteen years, before her retirement in 2000.  She enjoyed downhill skiing and crocheting. In her later years since retirement, she enjoyed going to lunch and to dinner with her "pool group" and her "work group", as well as completing Word Search. She also enjoyed curling up to watch a good movie from the Hallmark and Lifetime channels.

Predeceased in April of 2000 by her beloved husband Kenneth E. Deming, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Faith Deming of North Dartmouth, Michelle Jurkouich and her husband Scott of Milford, NJ, and Kristin Wheeler and her husband David of Portsmouth, RI, a brother, Rene Duhamel of Washington, IA, two sisters, Rita Laplante of Gilford, NH, and Henriette Laferriere of Lowell, six grandchildren,  Byron, Bryce, Loryn, Tyler, Graeme and Maren, one great-granddaughter, Bette and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Andre and Emile Duhamel.

Private family funeral services were held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  A private springtime burial will be held in Atkinson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA or to The American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr. Bedford, MA.
