Titusville, Florida: Winella C. "Winnie" (Dow) Chouinard, 73, a resident of Titusville for the past ten years and a former resident of Plaistow, NH, died September 2, 2017 at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill,  surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Newburyport, MA, daughter of the late Alfred and Evelyn (Dobson) Dow, she was raised and educated in Seabrook and Hampton, NH. A member of the Winnacunett High School Class of 1962, she was a member of the Girl's Varsity Basketball Team.

Until moving to Titusville, Mrs. Chouinard was a lifelong resident of the Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire area. She owned and operated Draperies Plus, specializing in commercial and residential custom window treatments and operating in Plaistow and Seabrook.

A former member of Holy Angels Parish of Plaistow and P.A.C.E., she enjoyed lake and ocean boating, camping, quilting and traveling across the United States and other parts of the globe. She was a devoted grandmother, mother and wife.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-five years, Edward Chouinard, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey M. and Betty Ann Canney of Dracut, MA, and Joseph S. and Lori Canney of Huntersville, NC, three daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle A. and Joseph D'Aoust of Sandown, Melissa A. and Dan O'Conner of Plaistow, and Nicole A. and Michael DiRienzo, of Kittery, ME, a brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Barbara Dow of Vero Beach, Florida, also fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Chouinard's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Plaistow. Her funeral service will follow at 7:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
