Wilton O. Avery, 85, of Newton Junction, N.H., died January 10, 2012 at home.



Son of the late Ernest and Jessie (Clark) Avery, he was a lifelong Newton resident most of his life.



Mr. Avery worked several years for the railroad B&M and Maine (central), he also worked for AT&T for 20 years.



He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Johnson) Avery, two daughters, Amy Desantis and

Joanna Dumas, one sister Olive Avery, and three grandchildren.
