William T. Burke, "Bill", 54, of Sandown, NH, died unexpectedly in his home on Monday October 11, 2021.

Born in Charlestown, MA, he was the son of William and Karen (Gammon) Burke. Bill was a devoted husband and dad, with a love of hockey and all things Disney. He authored three Mousejunkies Disney travel books and wrote for the Boston Herald and many other publications, most recently NH Magazine. His unique perspective and wonderfully unconventional sense of humor shone through in his writing. Many of his columns focused on the two people he loved the most, his wife Amy and his daughter Katie. It should also be noted that Bill never met a musical instrument he didn't buy and immediately trade for another. Even in this time of sorrow, he makes us laugh with the obituary photo he selected years ago.

Bill will be sadly missed and forever in the heart of his wife of almost twenty-six years, Amy (Morancie) Burke, daughter, Katherine Burke, brother, Rick Burke and his wife, Janna of Manchester, NH, sisters, Susan Payne and her husband, Shawn of Maricopa, Arizona, Christine Kane and her husband, Barry of Manchester, NH, as well as many nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday October 18, 2021, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 19 at 10 AM in the Atkinson Congregational Church, 101 Main St., Atkinson, NH.
