K. Mullin

Salem, NH: William "Bill" K. Mullin, 89, of Salem, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at his home in Salem, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William E. and Cecelia Concordia Mullin. He graduated from Keith Academy as a member of the Class of 1952. He went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Management from Northeastern University as a member of the ROTC program and served in the U.S. Army rising to the rank of Captain before his discharge in 1960.
Bill was employed by a defense contractor as a manufacturing operations manager for many years until his retirement. He was a long- time member of Holy Angels Parish of Plaistow, and member of the parish choir. He served his parish as an usher and as a religious education instructor teaching Confirmation classes. He was a member of the St. Jude Council of the Knights of Columbus, Plaistow and a 4th Degree member of Bishop Peterson Assembly.
An avid Red Sox fan, Bill was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed holiday dinners and birthday celebrations. He also enjoyed playing Chess, Bowling, Playing 45's and caring for his beloved German Shepherds.
Predeceased in 2018 by his beloved wife June, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons and a daughter-in-law, William E. Mullin of Newton, NH, Wayne P. and Jenna Mullin of Atkinson, and a daughter and son-in-law Kimberly A. M. and Paul Peterson of Chester, NH; three grandchildren, Sean J. Peterson, Alexis A. Peterson, and Weston William Mullin and was anxiously awaiting the birth of his granddaughter. He is also survived by a niece Colleen Mullin-Park and a nephew Michael Mullin as well as grand nephews, a grand niece, great nephews and great niece. He was predeceased by his brother Robert E. Mullin.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Thursday morning, May 30, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Atkinson Depot Rd. Plaistow. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Donations in his name may be made to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. https://fidelco.org
