Haverhill, MA: William S. Goddard, 80, of Haverhill passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013, following an extended illness.

Born in Haverhill, MA son of the late Sydney and Helen (Guzowski) Goddard, he graduated Haverhill High School with the class of 1951 and later attended Greer Diesel Mechanic School. He most recently was employed on the Goddard Family Farm on North Broadway in Haverhill and had previously worked as a diesel mechanic for Yemma Brothers Construction and Best Buick.

Mr. Goddard was a member of All Saints Parish. As a young man he was a member of the 4-H Club and the West Parish Troop of the Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his brother, Robert J. Goddard, of Haverhill and was predeceased by his sister Carol J. Goddard.

Family and friends may call on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA, with burial at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Haverhill.
