Haverhill, MA; William "Bill" G. Smith, 71, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Lawrence General Hospital.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, he was the son to the late Harold and Lorraine (Ordway) Smith, a graduate of Haverhill High School. He was employed in the auto parts industry where he developed a lifelong passion for vintage and classic cars.

Bill enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and watching movies. In his younger years, he loved racing cars and playing guitar.

Bill is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his identical twin brother, Wayne Smith and his wife, Doreena; older brothers, Robert Smith and his wife, Constance, Richard Smith and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister-in-law, Janet Smith.

Service will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
