William Taft Freeman born August 6, 1934 in Boston, MA, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2021 at his home in Wellton, Arizona.

Bill lived a long and adventurous life. He traveled the world and this country with his wife, Marianna. He overcame many hardships. He was most proud of his service to country in the USAF during the Korean Conflict and of celebrating 41 years of sobriety.  He worked at Delta Airlines as Lead Aircraft Mechanic for 29 years. He was a private pilot and instructor. He did aerial mapping photography for the state of NH and crop dusting in Arizona. He rebuilt airplanes. He started his own successful aviation maintenance business which still operates today in Manchester, NH.

He is survived by his wife, Marianna Freeman, the love of his life, and by his five daughters: Carol Freeman Fraser of NH, Donna Freeman of VT, Elaine Freeman Lawrence of CA, Leslie Freeman of TN and Robin Freeman Hale of NC. He is also survived by his step daughters: Julie Hyde of AZ, Janice Manion of CA, Sheryl Graves of Australia, Oriel Heseltine and Judith of New Zealand.

He is survived by ten grandchildren: Michael Lynch, Thomas Lynch, Gordon Fraser,  David Fraser, Jessica Lawrence, Johanna Lawrence, Lindsey Moulaison, Daniella  Prather, William Hale, Sarah Hale and 8 great grandchildren: Mia Lynch, Benjamin  Lynch, Simon Fraser, Austin Fraser, Carson Fraser, Hendrix Moulaison, Ainsley  Hammonds and Tesla Hammonds.

He is survived by his sister Joyce Prescott and her family and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father, William T. Freeman, his mother, Mildred Ireland Freeman and his brother, Edmund C. Freeman.

Arrangements are being coordinated by Berube-Comeau Funeral Home 47 Broadway Haverhill MA.

Services will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11 AM at the Chapel at Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill, and followed by burial in Linwood Cemetery with military honors.
