Hampstead, NH: William J. "Bill" Harrington, 70, of Hampstead, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday December 18, 2019.

Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late William L. and Rita (Heger) Harrington. Bill grew up in Boston and attended high school at Carmelite Junior Seminary, Class of 1967, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from New Hampshire College. He later returned to New Hampshire College to earn a Master's Degree in Business Administration. For over thirty years Bill worked in management for Chrysler Financial. After his retirement he decided to join Fidelity and obtained a license as a stockbroker because playing the stock market was one of Bill's interests, along with history and politics. He also enjoyed watching and cheering for the Red Sox and Patriots. Most of all, Bill was a devoted, loving family man, always hosting and cooking for holiday parties at his home. An especially treasured time were the family trips to Disney World every other year.

Bill will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Suzanne Cronin and her husband Christopher of Hampstead, NH and Laura Combs and her husband Kim of Hampstead, NH, brother, David Harrington of Hampstead, NH, sisters, Maryellen Harrington of Hawaii, and Rita Fraser of Quincy, MA, grandsons, Joseph, Thomas, Patrick, and Connor, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-seven years, Susan (Hemenway) Harrington, and his brother, Robert Harrington.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday December 28, 2019, at 10:00 AM in St. Anne Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH. Burial will take place in the spring.
