Plaistow, NH: Wayne P. Daniels, 57, a resident of Plaistow for most of his life, died peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at his home, after a lengthy and courageous battle with ALS.

Born in Haverhill, MA, the son of the late Howard and Barbara (Johnson) Daniels, he was raised and educated in Plaistow and attended Pollard school. Wayne was a member of the Timberlane Regional High School Class of 1982, where he was a member of the wrestling team.

In the early eighties, Wayne was first employed by Bolton Emerson in Lawrence. In 1987 Wayne started working at American Adhesive Coating Company in Lawrence where he would remain for twenty-eight years.

Wayne was an accomplished guitarist and member of the band Granite along with Mark Taylor, Steve Nelson, and Todd Grenier. Wayne was an avid Red Sox and Patriot fan, and also loved Halloween and The Three Stooges.  Before his illness , he enjoyed weight lifting, biking , camping , snowshoeing and skiing with his wife Lori and daughter Brooke.

Wayne was a true friend to many and will be forever missed by family and many friends.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and caregiver, Lori ( Samulka ) Daniels. He is also survived by his daughter, Brooke A. Daniels of Plaistow, two brothers, Greg Daniels of Exeter and Todd Daniels and his wife, Pauline of Haverhill, a sister, Pamela Short and her companion, Fred Paleno of Kingston, a brother- in-law, Robert Samulka and his wife, Jennifer of Ellenton FL, a niece, Sandra Cunningham and her husband, Dennis of Portsmouth, a nephew, Greg Daniels Jr. of Lawrence, a nephew, Todd Daniels, Jr. of Kingston, a nephew, Justin Daniels and his fiancé, Chelsea of Kingston, a niece, Katrina Finnegan-Wells and her husband, Daniel of Derry, a niece, Laura Foti and her husband, Peter of Candia, and also several cousins.

Wayne was predeceased by his father, Howard Daniels, mother, Barbara Daniels, brother in law, Lawrence Short, sister-in-law, Janet Daniels and father-in-law, William Samulka.

Relatives and friends are invited to Wayne's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, under the State of New Hampshire guidelines for social distancing and the wearing of masks.
