Chester, NH: Wanda S. (Ashford) Wilson, 58, a resident of Chester for thirty-two years, died on July 24, 2016 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.
Born in Haverhill, MA on July 1, 1958, daughter of the late Kermit and Orisstella (White) Ashford, Wanda was raised in Hampstead, NH and graduated from Pinkerton Academy with the Class of 1976.
Wanda was most recently employed as a medical billing clerk for Dr. Keith Jorgenson, MD in Derry and had also been employed at Derry Medical. A voracious reader, she enjoyed cross stitching and the outdoors, especially trips to her favorite place by the lake in Pittsburg, NH.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Thomas L. Wilson, III, two sons, Thomas L. Wilson, IV of Chester, and Christopher R. Wilson and his wife Jennifer of Salem, NH, two brothers and two sisters, William K. Ashford of Atkinson, George E. Ashford of Northwood, Robin Mills and Cindy Ashford both of Hampstead, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Wanda's Life Celebration on Thursday, July 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will take place on Friday, July 29 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.
