Kingston: Vivian M. ( Sirrell) Morse, 90, of Kingston and East Kingston, died June 4, 2024, at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Laconia, NH, daughter of the late Frank E. and Marian (York) Sirrell, she was primarily raised and educated in Kingston and graduated from Sanborn Seminary in Kingston.
A member of Kingston Congregational Church, Mrs. Morse was a piece worker employed in local shoe companies. She was an avid reader and accomplished seamstress and made stuffed animals. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and working with the Ladies Aid Society of the Newton Fire Department.
Predeceased in 1991 by her husband, Earl Morse she is survived by a daughter, Donna Martel and her loving companion, Richard Gordon, of East Kingston, and a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Shari Morse of Barrington; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters, Sally Bergstrom and Nancy Morse, and a sister Marjorie Gariepy.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Kingston Congregational Church. The family wishes to acknowledge the staff of the Rockingham County Assisted Living and Rehabilitation Center in Brentwood for their kind assistance and support and care for Mrs. Morse and her family.
