Plaistow: Virginia N. Eastman, 75, of Plaistow, died peacefully on October 26, 2021, at Cedar View Rehab and Healthcare Center in Methuen, following a long illness.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on February 6, 1946, the only child of the late Fred Eastman III and the late Leslie (Jackson) Eastman, she attended Searles Elementary School, Methuen and graduated Tenney High School in 1963. She went on to attend and graduate from the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston and later received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Franklin Pierce College.

Virginia worked for several years as the secretary to the Assistant Headmaster at Phillips Academy in Andover before leaving the workforce to raise her family. Later, she was employed as the Director of Information Systems for the Andover Public Schools, retiring after twenty-four years of service.

Virginia enjoyed traveling, painting, occasional casino trips, and genealogy. She was a member of the Rockingham Society of Genealogists of New Hampshire and the Parsonsfield-Porter Historical Society of Maine.

Virginia will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of nineteen years, Thomas F. Michaud, her daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Joe Fox of Plaistow, her son Michael Sheehan and his partner Michael Kokernac of Irmo, SC, grandchildren Taryn and J.T. Fox of Plaistow, step-daughters Lisa Michaud and Melanie Lotz of Clovis, NM, and many cousins and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home of Plaistow. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer society or The Alzheimer's Association.
