Obituary

Tyler S. LoVasco, 29, formerly of Groveland, MA, died on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Tyler was most recently from Haverhill, and formerly from Groveland, but born in Beverly, MA, on September 18, 1988 and is survived by his mother Kim (Stacey) DeLong and his father Salvatore LoVasco of Hampstead, NH, and Haverhill, MA, respectively.

Tyler was raised and educated in Peabody, MA. He later attended Pentucket High School, Class of 2007, and then attended Salem State University and Northern Essex Community College in pursuit of a degree in Liberal Arts. Tyler worked for UPS for many years, and would later work for Foss Manufacturing as an Assemblyman, weaving fabric, a job he loved, and work he was proud of. A caring person, Tyler loved music -- so much in fact, that he built his own Flying V guitar, and played in jazz band during his high school years. A man of many talents, he was a gifted self-taught mechanic, and loved to work on cars, especially BMWs. Tyler was a lover of martial arts, and earned the rank of 2nd degree black belt. An avid conversationalist, Tyler possessed a breadth of knowledge that he loved to share with every person he met.

Tyler will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Kim DeLong and his stepfather Mark DeLong of Hampstead, NH, his father Salvatore LoVasco and his stepmother Amy Harrah, of Haverhill, MA, younger brother Derek LoVasco of Hampstead, NH, and step-brother Cody DeLong of Gorham, ME, grandmother Carol Stacey of Beverly, MA, Aunt Deanna and Uncle Rico Vigliotta of Clermont, FL, Aunt Nancy Burke, Uncle David LoVasco, and Uncle Thomas LoVasco, all of Beverly, MA, Uncle Michael LoVasco of Derry, NH, and many loving cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Joseph "Gaga" Stacey, Grace and Antonio LoVasco, all of Beverly, MA, Uncle Sebastian and his wife Aunt Mary Ellen LoVasco of Tuftonboro, NH, and Uncle Anthony LoVasco of Beverly, MA. He leaves his cat "Frankie" in the care of his loving family, who remember his kind and gentle spirit.
