Haverhill: Travis E. Green, 52, a resident of Haverhill since 2014, died on Thursday, October 16, 2025, after being stricken at home. Born in Concord, Massachusetts, son of the late James and Edna (Griffin) Green, Travis was raised in Maynard and attended St. Bridget's School. After moving to Concord with his family, he attended Minuteman Regional Vocational and Technical High School, graduating with his certification in Horticulture. He was employed for several years at Green Tree Service before changing his career to plumbing and heating. Over the years he worked at Rodenhiser Plumbing and Heating of Holliston, Beaudoin Brothers Plumbing and Heating of West Concord, Stark and Cronk Plumbing and Heating of Groveland, and Paul the Plumber of Derry, NH. He was presently employed at Lindsay Water Conditioning Co. of Kingston, NH.
Travis was an accomplished, well-known and monster of a guitarist and member of several bands, notably the band Grain. He also took part in several fundraisers including "All Night Thing" that raised funds for suicide prevention/NAMI, "Operation Juke Box", raising funds for veteran associations and a Slayer Tribute Band. Travis especially loved playing music by Black Sabbath and Johnny Cash. Travis enjoyed the thrill of riding his motorcycle and the quieter experience of fishing. He had an interest in wildlife, especially birds and maintained an interest in extra-terrestrial occurrences. Travis especially loved spending time with his dogs, Zuzu and Brody, and his bird, Rico. If you were family or friend of Travis, you always knew he had your back. Travis was loved by all that knew him. He was well-liked with a great presence. He was known as "Big T" and "T Bone" by loved ones and friends alike.
Travis's loss has left a massive hole in the hearts of everyone that knew him. Travis will be devastatingly missed and lovingly remembered by his longtime loving companion and wife of two and a half years, Maria A. Zangari, a stepdaughter, Alexandra Smith, three sisters, Kathleen E. McLendon and her Henry of Gardner, MA, Lisa "Nadine" Beaudoin of Calais, ME, and Valerie J. MacArthur, of Winchendon ,MA, his mother-in-law, Diana Zangari of Seabrook, his brother-in-law Ronald Zangari, II, of East Hampstead, NH, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, James "Jimmy" Green, his brother-in-law Shaun Beaudoin, and his father-in-law, Ronald Zangari.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST. Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 6:15 in the chapel of the funeral home.
