Timothy J. Donovan Jr, 85, a resident of Durham, NH, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at RiverWoods in Durham, NH. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Cusick) Donovan with whom he shared fifty-seven years.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on March 17, 1941 and was the son of the late Timothy J. Sr and Hazel R. (Corcoran) Donovan. Timothy was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA. He was employed as the lead mechanic at Crown, Cork, and Seal in Lawrence for over forty years until his retirement. Timothy enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and staying fit at the gym. He also loved to travel with Maureen. She was everything meaningful in his life and she was his world.

Besides his wife, Timothy is survived by his sister Mary Donovan of Zephyrhills, FL, his sister-in-law Marilyn Barnett and her husband Bob of Durango, CO, his brothers-in-law James Cusick and his wife Gail of Rye, NH, Thomas Cusick of Lowell, MA, and Dennis Cusick and his wife Loretta of Hamilton, MA. Timothy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 9am – 10:30am at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 11am at the First Baptist Church in Brentwood, NH. Interment in Highland Cemetery in Newton, NH.
