"Tom" Broyles
January 16, 1951 – November 30, 2019
Thomas E. Broyles, 68, of Danville, died in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday November 30, 2019, after a courageous, ten year battle with cancer.
Born in Haverhill, MA, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Marion (Blinn) Broyles. Growing up in Plaistow, NH, Tom attended the area schools, including Timberlane Regional High School. At twenty years of age he entered the United States Marine Corps, and proudly served his country for six years. Upon his return home, Tom went to work as a machinist at Process Engineering in Plaistow, from which he retired. He later returned to working, this time at Gould Industries in Newburyport.
Tom was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Patriots. He loved spending time at home watching the races and football games with his beloved family and good company. He was also an active member of the American Legion, Carl G. Davis, Post 34.
Tom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Ann Marie Day of Danville, NH, Heather Broyles of Manchester, NH, and Diana Broyles and her fiancé, Jeremie Vanagel of Londonderry, NH. Sisters, Judith Mayo of Carroll, NH, and Cathaleen Champion of Danville, NH, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and great friends. He was predeceased by his wife of almost forty-three years, Bonnie (Durling) Broyles, and his two brothers James and Randy Broyles.
Relatives and friends may attend Tom's Life Celebration to be held on Sunday December 8, 2019, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. His Funeral Service to begin at 7:15 PM in the funeral home, followed by the rendering of Military Funeral Honors by the U. S. Marine Corps.
