Kilbridge, Jr.

Framingham: Thomas J. Kilbridge, Jr. a resident of Framingham since 1963, died peacefully, Friday, February 24, 2017, at Seasons Hospice House in Milton, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Brockton, son of the late Thomas and Mary (O'Leary) Kilbridge, he was raised and educated in Bridgewater and was a member of Bridgewater High School Class of 1952 and a former member of Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal, stationed in Germany, and was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense Service Medal and The Germany Occupation Medal.
Following his honorable discharge from the service, Mr. Kilbridge attended Clark University and Bentley College. He was employed for twenty-eight years as an advertising and sales manager by Pilot Publishing Co., the publisher of the Archdiocese of Boston Catholic newspaper, retiring in 1990 as the General Manager. He continued to work in sales for the Bose Corporation until his final retirement.
A longtime active member of Saint George Parish of the Saxonville section of Framingham, he served his parish community as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, parish lector and religious education instructor. A devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, Mr. Kilbridge was an avid student of military history, especially World War II and military aircraft. He enjoyed playing golf and attending air shows.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-seven years, Ellen (Bowen) Kilbridge, four sons, Thomas J. Kilbridge,III and his wife Rosemary of Ocean Isle, NC, Brian P. Kilbridge of Framingham, Christopher J. Kilbridge and his wife Elizabeth of South Weymouth, and Sean M. Kilbridge of Jamaica Plain, two sisters, Ann Frawley of Brockton and Miriam Querzoli of Bridgewater, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Kilbridge, and sisters Catherine Poulin, Mary Kilbridge and Clare Kilbridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Saint George Church, 74 School Street, Framingham, Massachusetts. Burial with military honors will follow in Saint Stephen's Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow in the church hall at Saint George's Parish. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Saint George Parish.
