Plaistow, NH: Thomas F. Hickey, 93, of Plaistow died on May 17, 2014 at Baker Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill, MA.

Born, raised and educated in East Boston, son of the late William and Joanna Grace (Garcia) Hickey, he worked as a machinist for Goodall, Sanford Company of Reading and Burlington Industries, and later for the A.W. Chesterton Inc. of Woburn from where he retired. A resident of Plaistow for over fifty years, he previously lived in Revere, Woburn, and Wakefield, MA.

An avid New England sports fan, he rooted especially for the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed horses and being a spectator of horse racing.

Husband of the late Alice (Penno) Hickey, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael T. and Monique Hickey of Medford, MA, and Kevin J. and Susan Hickey of York, ME, a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Paul Huber of Plaistow, a brother Robert Hickey of North Reading, MA, a sister, Grace Dyment of Reading, MA, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Sharkey.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
