Thomas E Daggett, forever in our hearts…

On Thursday, November 16, 2017, Thomas E. Daggett (Tommy), 50, passed away suddenly at his home in Plaistow, NH.

Tommy was predeceased by his mother Margaret P.Daggett and his brother David P. Daggett.  He is survived by his father Charles E Daggett Jr. of Plaistow, His sisters Susan G Daggett, of Haverhill,MA,  Betty A. Daggett and her fiancé Robert B. McLoud of Newton NH, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tommy graduated from Whittier Vocational Technical High School in 1985. He most recently worked for Bethany Homes and Opportunity Works where he worked with the elderly and special need populations respectively. He loved working with these populations and found great joy making people happy and caring for others.  He'd give the elders roses on Valentine's Day and made cookie gift packages at Christmas time. He previously worked for the City of Haverhill for 17 years insuring the security of Haverhill Schools and the students attending, and was self-employed landscaping and plowing.

Tommy was a total patriot.  He loved the 4 ^th of July and was known for his spectacular fireworks in Riverside.  He loved boating on the Merrimack River and boating with friends, always ending the day at Crescent Yacht Club.  His love of antiques cars was well known, with his favorite being the '57 Olds convertible.  Halloween was a favorite of Tommy's.  He always decorated his barn in Riverside for all neighborhood friends and family to enjoy. He loved meeting friends for coffee and conversation at Plug's Pond.  He was a past member of AmVets and always enjoyed serving veterans at the holidays.

Tommy approached life like a lion but had the heart of a lamb.  He will be deeply missed by all he touched!
