Thomas D. Cummings, 79, a resident of East Hampstead, NH died on Monday, July 28, 2025 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean (Liddell) Cummings with whom he shared 36 years of marriage.

Tom was born on May 2, 1946 in Everett, MA and was the son of the late Frederick and Julia (Holland) Cummings. He was raised and educated in Everett, MA and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1964. Tom attended Salem State University in Salem, MA. He was a salesman for many years, specializing in kitchens and cabinets. Tom was an avid sports fan – and especially loved the Boston Red Sox and Celtics. He was a social butterfly with a quick wit and always had a great story to tell.

He is survived by his daughter Robyn Cummings and his son-in-law Nickolas Smith of East Hampstead, NH, his brothers-in-law Kenneth Liddell and his wife Angela, Robert Liddell and his wife Jill, and John Liddell and his wife Joan. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, many lifelong friends and his dog grandsons Goose and Gator.

Tom was sadly predeceased by his daughter Lindsey Cummings and his sister Patricia Keough.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10am – 12pm at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:15pm. Interment in West Hampstead Cemetery Hampstead, NH.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tom's name to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
