Lawrence: Theresa L. (Tinker) Costello, 78, a longtime resident of Lawrence and South Lawrence, died April 1, 2016 at Marguerite House in Lawrence.
Born and educated in Sherbrook, P.Q., Canada, daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Boisvert) Tinker, she came to the Lawrence area at the age of eighteen. Mrs. Costello worked for over twenty years at Raytheon and retired as a group leader.
A former member of Saint Patrick's Parish, she enjoyed bingo, gardening, crocheting and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed the many happy times that she spent with her family.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Costello in 2011, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughters and sons-in-law, Jane M. and James Rizza of Raymond, NH, Diana and Robert Farrell of East Hampstead, NH, Ann M. Costello of Bradford, and Brenda and Roger Whitehouse of Danville, NH, sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph D. and Robin Costello of Haverhill, and Michael J. and Shannon Costello of South Lawrence, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Tinker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. in All Saints Church, Haverhill.
