Plaistow, NH: Theresa J. "Terry" (Lahaye) Ouellette, 80, a resident of Plaistow for the past forty-nine years, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Robert J. Ouellette, who predeceased her in 2017.

Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Edmund and Blanche (Richard) Lahaye, she was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1961 and attended Northern Essex Community College. Terry was employed as a visual inspector at Lucent Technoligies, A T & T Technologies and Western Electric, retiring in 2000.

A friend of Bill W and former member of Saint Joseph Parish, Terry enjoyed walking with her husband Robert, reading novels and spending time at the Plaistow Library. She was also a New England Patriots fan and enjoyed completing puzzles, attending crafts fairs and playing board games with her sisters.

Terry was devoted to her grand-daughter Dagny Jean Marie Ouellette, who was the "light of her life", and is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law John J. and Rebecca Ouellette of Plaistow, a daughter, Michelle J. Ouellette of Chester, CT, two brothers, Raymond Lahaye and his wife Susan of Haverhill and Ronald Lahaye and his wife Marie of Boonton, NJ., two sisters, Suzanne Childers of Haverhill and Barbara Rembis and her husband Mark of Deerfield, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a brother Richard Lahaye, and two sisters, Carole Anderson and Marie Papoutsy.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 o'clock noon at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. Her funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home and will be followed by burial in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill, MA. The family suggests that donations in her name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA.
