Hampstead, NH: Theresa J. (Bushey) Duprey, 90, a resident of Hampstead since 2005, died August 21, 2017, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family.

Born, raised and educated in Mooers, NY, daughter of the late Owen and Laura (Forette) Bushey, she graduated from Altona High School.

Mrs. Duprey was a resident of Richmond, Virginia from, 1965, until relocating to Southern New Hampshire, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was employed in the Department of Personnel at The United States Treasury, and was an active member of St. Michael's Parish of Richmond and the Ladies' Guild of the parish.

A member of Saint Anne's Parish of Hampstead, Mrs. Duprey was an avid reader and a longtime fan of the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles. She enjoyed tending her rose garden, traveling throughout the United States and across the globe, and creating a warm and inviting home for her husband and children.

Predeceased by her husband Rowlyn W. "Ron" Duprey, in 2008, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Carla L. Duprey of Charleston, S.C. and Nicole H. Carace and her husband Vincent of Hampstead, three sons, Stephen R. Duprey of Cape Breton, N.S., Scott F. Duprey and his wife Catherine of Hague, VA, and Joel W. Duprey of Hampton, VA, seven grandsons, one grand-daughter, and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 9:45a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. A private family burial service will be held in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
