Obituary

Plaistow, NH: Tatiana V. (Kean) Nicholson, 81, a resident of Plaistow for over 35 years, died May 9, 2017 at the Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, daughter of the late Basil and Elizabeth Mesniankine, she came to the United States at the age of twelve and settled with her family in Watertown, MA. She attended local schools and was employed for twenty years as a group leader of mechanical inspection at Raytheon.

A longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Carl Davis Post of the American Legion of Plaistow, she had served as treasurer and chaplain of the post for many years.

She was an avid boater and enjoyed deep sea fishing, surf casting and dining out at seafood restaurants.

She is survived by her son Lynn D. Nicholson and his fiancé Joanne M. Sanborn of East Wakefield, NH, a daughter, Elizabeth Wilson of Lakeland, Florida, three grandsons, Greg Nicholson of Salem, NH, Derek Nicholson of Belmont, NH and Cody Willhite of Lakeland, Florida, a sister Tamara Havens of Lexington, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Plaistow, NH. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Plaistow.
