Kingston, NH; Tammie J. Hamlett 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 9, 2022, at her home.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, daughter to the late Alfred and Rita (Langlois) Desmarais. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, following graduation she began a successful career in bookkeeping for various companies, before becoming self-employed.

Tammie enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting. She was also passionate about genealogy and traced her family origins. Tammie was a beautiful vocalist and loved to sing Whitney Houston and worship hymns. Above all, spending time with family and friends was most important.

Tammie is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Heidi Routier of Marietta*, SC; Shane Hamlett of Haverhill, MA, and their significant others; her longtime significant other, John Slabczynski; two grandchildren, Tristan, and Ayva Hamlett; brother, Thomas Desmarais of Newton, NH; sister-in-law, Michelle Desmarais. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her granddaughter, Dasia Routier and her brother, Allen Desmarais.
