Haverhill: Sylvia B. (Meserve) Greenwood, 91 a longtime resident of Haverhill, died March 31, 2019 at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.

Born in Scarborough, Maine, daughter of the late Fred and Minnie (Skillin) Meserve, she attended local schools and graduated from Scarborough High School. She was a co-owner and the receptionist of Mr. Wayne Hair Stylist in Haverhill.

A member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill and the former Ladies of Saint Anne Society, she was also a longtime member of the former Saint George's Parish of Haverhill and a member and Past-President of the Catholic Women's Club.

An avid reader and accomplished seamstress, Mrs. Greenwood also enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends and was especially noted for her delicious pies.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-three years, Wayne M. Greenwood, several cousins and close friends.

There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Greenwood's Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill.
