Susan "Migatz" Hrubala, 78, a resident of Hampstead, North Carolina, died on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Penacook Place in Haverhill, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolph F. Hrubala.

She was born in New Hyde Park, New York on February 11, 1947, and was the daughter of the late William and Veronica (Schultheis) Migatz.  Susan enjoyed dancing, music, and culinary delights. Susan and Rudy were "beach people", they loved the warm sun, trips to Martha's Vineyard and Caribbean vacations. She cherished time spent with her family.

Susan is survived by her daughters Nicole Hannes of East Hampstead, NH, and Dana Schicker and her husband Glenn of Sandy Hook, CT., her grandchildren Christofer and Kelsey Hannes, Alexandra, Madelyn and Collin Schicker, and her brother Bruce Migatz and his wife Victoria.

She was sadly predeceased by her brother Melvin Migatz and his wife Jean.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 9 am – 11 am at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Following calling hours, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 pm at Saint Anne Parish 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Interment will be held privately.
