Hampstead, NH; Susan A. Clarke-Barnes 65, passed away at Bear Mountain at Andover, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, on June 14, 1957, daughter to Gordon Smith and Jeanne Thibideau, she was raised and educated in Plaistow, New Hampshire. She was a graduate of Timberlane High School. She went on to work for Jacobs Engineering in Human Resources for many years before retiring due to her health.

Susan enjoyed spending time at the beach and trips to Foxwoods with family and friends.  She loved music and animals. Susan happily attended many live shows throughout the years. When New England weather allowed, she enjoyed many motorcycle rides with her loving husband. Above all, spending time with family was most important.

Susan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband of nineteen years, Wayne Barnes of Hampstead, NH; her son, Ryan Clarke of Hampton, NH; daughter, Debra Baker and her husband, Eric of Plaistow, NH; three grandchildren, Kevin, Max and Trey Baker; father, Gordon Smith and his wife, Beth of Lebanon, ME; three brothers, James Smith and his wife, Jennifer of Kingston, NH, Jeffrey Smith and his wife, Katrina of Barrington, NH and David Smith and his wife, Julie of Dover, NH. Susan is predeceased by her son, Kevin Lampron, mother, Jeanne Thibideau and her brother, Rick Smith.
