IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven S.
Perry
November 22, 1982 – August 19, 2024
Hampstead, NH: Steven Scott Perry, 41, a lifelong resident of Hampstead, NH, died peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA on August 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. It is with heavy hearts that the family acknowledges that Steven left those that he loved far too soon after being stricken by a sudden and rare brain infection.
Born on November 22, 1982, in Haverhill, MA, Steven was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Throughout his life, Steven made a lasting impact on so many and was always ready with a word of encouragement and a helping hand.
Steven was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He graduated in 2001 from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA where he played varsity basketball and soccer and went on to attend Bryant University. Steven took great pride in his career as Director of Hampstead Nursing Services working alongside his mother for many years. He was also an avid Boston sports fan whose knowledge and passion for sports was beyond measure.
Though his time with us was cut short, Steven had a sense of adventure, lived a full life and was happiest spending time with his family who meant everything to him. He had many fond memories of the times he spent with his grandparents and later his brother on Big Island Pond and was looking to new adventures on Kingston Lake. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the game even more when playing with his nephews.
Steven was predeceased in 1998 by his father, James Perry and is survived by his mother, Judith "Judi"(O'Neill) Perry, his sister, Susan (Perry) Hamilton and her husband Paul, his brothers James Perry, Jr. and his wife Linda, and Michael Perry and his wife Suzanne, his nephews James Perry III, Matthew Perry and Shawn Perry, his nieces Shannon Perry and her fiancé Chris MacIntosh, Laura Corrigan and her husband Matthew Corrigan, and Sarah Hamilton and her boyfriend Sebastian Rengifo, and Steven's girlfriend, Kaitlyn ("Katie") Muir.
Steven will forever be in our hearts, remembered for his warmth, spirit, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
