Stephen B. Wilcomb, 64, of Jamaica Plain, died on October 25, 2015 at his home following a long and courageous battle with Leukemia.
Born in Manchester, NH, son of the late Dexter H. and Theresa (Stips) Wilcomb, he graduated from Manchester Central High School and went on to attend Vesper George School of Art in Boston. Stephen was employed for over 25 years at Brunschwig & Fils in Boston, where he held the position of Sales Manager of the Boston territory. He retired in 2014.
An avid reader, Stephen enjoyed studying architecture and interior design. His lifelong interest in the history of his hometown of Manchester, NH brought him much joy. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed walking, hiking, and traveling.
He leaves behind his best friend and longtime companion, Michael N. Bouvier of Jamaica Plain, his terrier Champ, his brother Harrison Wilcomb and his wife Elaine of Wyoming, his niece Tina Cote and her husband Mike and children Sebastian and Zoe of Wyoming, and his niece Jennifer Wilcomb and her son Stephen Harrison of New Mexico.
A private family gathering and celebration of Stephen's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, 10 Chandler Street, Boston, MA 02116. Arrangements are under the direction of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.
