Stephen Paul Marcinkevich, 60, of E. Hampstead, NH son of John J. Marcinkevich and Barbara (Jaskal) Marcinkevich of Lawrence MA, passed away on June 7, 2017 after a hard battle with cancer. Born February 20, 1957, Stephen attended the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational School, where he studied welding. Stephen was a dedicated husband, father, son, an irreplaceable brother and friend. He was employed by the Haverhill school district, where he retired as a dedicated custodian. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
Stephen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Janet (Gaudet) Marcinkevich whom he met at Raymonds Turkey Farm, working together there for many years. He is survived by his sons Peter "Jeff" Makepeace and his wife Johanna of Sandown NH and Jason Makepeace and his wife Sherry, of Raymond NH., brothers John Marcinkevich and his wife Vicki of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and David Marcinkevich and his wife Darlene of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., sisters Carole Souza of Pelham, NH., Deborah Fratturelli and her husband James of Salem, NH., Susan Simoneau and her husband Leon of Salem, NH., Sandra Vanagas and her husband Alphonse of Elkridge, MD., and Gayle Kamal and her husband Alan of Salem, NH. He leaves behind his three loving grandchildren Zachary, Ryan, and Makayla.
Known for his love of people, Stephen loved gardening and would freely give away the many vegetables he grew. He loved to cook, tend his Turkeys, spend time with his family, and had a passion for motorcycles.
