Stanley P. Paszko, 81, of Haverhill, MA died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, from injuries sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle.
Born in Kawaz, Poland, son of the late Stanley and Eva Paszko, he attended school in Poland and served in the Polish Army. While in Poland, Mr. Paszko worked as a Baker.He moved to the United States in 1965 and worked first locally as a Baker and then as a Finisher for over twenty years at the Haverhill Paperboard Co, until his retirement.
He was an active member of the former St. Michael's Parish, Haverhill and All Saints Parish, Haverhill, where he served as a collector.He enjoyed outdoor gardening, working outside in his yard, playing cards and was always readily available to assist someone who needed help of any kind.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Helen (Walinista) Paszko; two daughters and son-in-law, Greta and Raymond Labbe of Bradford, MA, Beata Webb of Fairfax, VA; a grandson, Sean T. Webb of Ohio, four nephews and one niece.He was pre-deceased by a brother, Michael Paszko.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, from 5 - 8 PM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.His funeral will begin on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Haverhill.Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill.
