Haverhill, MA: Shirlie (Matthews) Talarico, 89, of Haverhill died on November 29, 2013 at the Oxford Manor Nursing Home in Haverhill.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian (Hamilton) Matthews, she attended Haverhill schools and graduated from Haverhill High School.

Mrs. Talarico worked for Lucent Technologies as a bench worker. She was a member of the former St. Rita's Parish and was most recently a member of All Saints Parish.

She was predeceased by her husband Antonia "Bebbe" Talarico and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis J. and Alana Talarico of Danville, NH, a grandson, Jeffrey M. Talarico of Manchester, NH, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Pauline Procopio and Virginia Patnaude.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.
