Shirley A. Cignoni, 87, of Plaistow, New Hampshire, passed away on Monday April 13, 2026 at her home that she treasured, and with her family she loved.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pearl (Bellerive) Cignoni.
Shirley worked as a secretary for many years at the First Baptist Church in Plaistow, Kimi Nichols Center in Atkinson, and others. She had several interests including performing in local community theater and variety shows. She loved painting, crafting, and jewelry-making. She was also a long-time member of the First Baptist Church community. Shirley brought a great sense of humor and enthusiasm to her pursuit of all of these interests.
Shirley's greatest passion in life was her family. She cherished time with her husband, children, and grandchildren and provided many humorous adventures that will long be remembered.
Shirley will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty years, David Flint of Plaistow, New Hampshire, son Michael Beaton of Atkinson, New Hamshire, daughter Michelle Beaton and her husband, Joseph Mahoney of Kingston, New Hampshire, brother, Richard Cignoni of Florida, grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Mahoney, as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Cignoni.
A private Graveside Service for Shirley will be held in Plaistow Cemetery on Elm Street, Plaistow, New Hampshire.
