IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheila M.
(Riel) Raynes
July 30, 1963 – June 17, 2021
Sheila M. Raynes, 57, of Danville, NH, died suddenly in her home, on Thursday June 17, 2021.
Born in Methuen, MA, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Annette (Vachon) Riel and grew up in Lawrence attending the area schools.
Sheila loved the outdoors especially camping, going for long rides in hopes of intentionally getting lost with Bunky, crafts, and shopping. An aspiring culinary wizard whose most famous dish was lovingly referred to as Sheila slop by family. She looked forward to holidays spent with family and friends. An animal lover to the core she loved and adored her fur babies. Sheil had a quick wit and an enormous sense of humor to match her enormous heart. She loved people, it didn't matter who you were or weren't the more imperfect the better! She was adored and loved by so many a true testament to the kind of person she was. She loved and spilled over with pride when she talked about her boys and her Lily to whom she was affectionately known as Pooty. Her beautiful blue eyes always had a mischievous glint in them, and she was known to pull off a prank or two. She was one of those rare generous loving people. She was pre-deceased by her parents Laurence and Annette Riel. In the years of her mom's passing not a day went by that she didn't mourn and miss her. It brings solace to know that they're reunited and probably busy playing cribbage or 45's. She left a mark not just on earth but in every heart that was privileged to have loved and known her.
Sheila will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, Christopher Raynes and his lady friend, Amy Berberian of Lowell, MA, Nicholas Raynes of Danville, NH, brothers, Laurence Riel and his wife, Carrie of Methuen, MA, Timothy Riel and his wife, Tannie of Exeter, NH, Keith Riel and his wife, Jessica of East Kingston, NH, sister, Jacqueline Law of Farmington, NH, daughter-in-law, Sasha Raynes, granddaughter, Lili Fawcett, nieces and nephews, Ashley, Justin, Kylee, Laura, Sydney, Grace, and Johnny, great nephews, Landon and Adrian, life partner of many years, James "Bunky" Flannery, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her two dogs, Milo and Skylar.
