Danville, NH: Shawn Robert Devlin 57, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 10, 2022, surrounded by his loving Life Partner Sherri Scheidegger.

Born August 5, 1964, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, son to James and Marilyn Devlin. He was raised in Groveland, MA and educated at Whitter Regional Vocational Technical High School. He worked as a skilled general contractor, following in the footsteps of his late Father James. He worked alongside his best friend and forged a wonderful handy man business together, Honey Do Handy Man Services. Shawn and his business partner, Garrett, helped folks with all kinds of projects throughout New England.

Shawn was a true outdoorsman. Throughout his life He enjoyed fishing and camping with his loved ones. Family trips to Hermit Island was where he made his some of his fondest memories. He loved sitting around the campfire, and listening to good tunes. He made others laugh, and became friends with strangers at each place he visited. Shawn was without a doubt, the life of the party. You could often find him at his favorite sushi spots and was known to frequent local restaurants. He was a devout New England Sports fan and enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle. He was the type of man who would take the shirt off his back to help others, no questions asked. Shawn had a huge heart, and deeply cared for animals, always trying to rescue and save those in need. He was a loving, caring friend, proud father, and "Papa". He will be dearly missed.

Shawn is survived by his life partner of seventeen years, Sherri Schidegger; and his two daughters, Jillian Devlin and Emma Devlin.  His Step daughter Ashley Broadhurst and her husband, Darrin; Step Son Jonathan  Scheidegger and his significant other, Corrine Johnson; Grandchildren, Macaydence Broadhurst and Elijah Scheidegger;  Mother, Marilyn Devlin;  Brothers, Mark Devlin and Scott Devlin and his wife, Janice; His Step mother Jane Devlin; Step Siblings Lynn Edmunds and Luke Edmunds;  brother-in-law, Joseph Clement; sister-in-law, Jennifer Sprague and mother-in-law Betty Clement; The mother of his Children Sheila Devlin; Best friend and Business partner, Garrett Burridge, Many Nieces and Nephews, and lastly, his beloved feline, Jinx.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration to be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the American Legion Post 100, 32 Windham Rd, Pelham, NH 03076. 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, NA 01844 .
