Naples, Florida:  Shaun Michael Menzie, 61, a resident of Naples and a former longtime resident of Atkinson, NH, died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on August 7, 2025 at Avow Hospice in Naples after a brave cancer battle.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, he was the son of John and Dorothy (Donahue) Menzie. He was raised and educated in Atkinson, attending the Rockwell School, The Atkinson Academy and Timberlane Regional High School.  He was a member of the Class of 1981 and a member of both the Junior Varsity and Varsity Baseball and Football teams. Shaun was a tremendous athlete and won several athletic awards including being voted All-State Quarterback.  He then received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Plymouth State University.

Shaun worked as a sales representative for ADT Security Systems in both the residential and commercial divisions. His engaging personality enabled him to connect with his customers and contributed to his sales success, resulting in several achievement awards.

Shaun's lifelong passions included fishing and maintaining his aquariums with tropical and exotic Discus fish. He was also a true car guy, attending car shows and Car Club Meets regularly, enjoying the Classics and Muscle cars and especially the Corvettes of which he was the proud owner of a red 1998 C5 Coup. He was an avid Boston Sports Fan.  He especially loved the Red Sox and attended their Spring Training Games at Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers as well as attending games with friends at Fenway.

Shaun will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Dorothy (Donahue) Menzie of Atkinson, NH, John Menzie and wife Kristine (Johnson) Menzie of Naples, FL, his brother Michael Menzie of Raymond, NH, his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Coleen and David Gemellaro of Rye, NH and Kendra and Galen Karriker of Stow, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Shaun's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.  His funeral service will follow at 6:15 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Donations in Shaun's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
