Sharyl Ann St. Jean, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

She was born on January 16, 1946 in Washington DC and was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Ouensenberry) St. Jean. Sharyl is formally of Plaistow, NH and Salisbury, MA. She recently moved into a Loving Group Home in Georgetown, MA in December of 2018 where she has resided for the last 7 years.

She survived a horrific accident in 1960. She was a passenger in a car that was hit by a train. Sharyl sustained a traumatic head injury and was robbed of a normal life that day, she has had many loving caregivers over the years, and our family is thankful and grateful for all of them. Sharyl has always blessed us with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh; her witty personality and endless words of wisdom always amazed us. One of our favorites is” Laughter is the Best Medicine” Sharyl leaves behind her six siblings, Trish St, Jean, Stuart FL, Pam and Joe Caradonna of Port St. Lucie FL, Larry St. Jean of Ormond Bech FL, Mark St. Jean of Salisbury, MA, Debra St. Jean Murphy of Fremont, NH, her nieces and nephews Mark and Jocelyn Caradonna, Kacey and Russell Jarres, Kristine and Patrick Macrae, Jonathan Murphy, Olivia St. Jean and Hannah St. Jean.

Funeral and interment will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH.
