Sharon L. (Morrissey) Shields, age 64, died on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Shields Jr. with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

She was born in Lawrence, MA on May 6, 1959 and was the daughter of the late James and Constance (Rizzo) Morrissey.

Sharon was raised and educated in Methuen, MA and was a graduate of Methuen High School. She was a long-time employee of Lucent Technologies in North Andover. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren. Her love of cooking was a way to bring everyone together, sharing a meal and spending quality time as a family. Sharon enjoyed classic movies and oldies music. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children JT Shields and his partner Jess Deltufo of Kingston, NH, Kayla Lebron and her husband Joel of East Hampstead, NH, her stepchildren Lisa Gates and her husband John of Atkinson, NH, Tracey Short and her husband Tom of Haverhill, MA,  John Shields III and his wife Trish of Kingston, NH, Elin McAloon and her husband Steve of Haverhill, MA, and Ted shields and his wife Maria of Salem, NH, her grandchildren Harley, Mason, Aiden, and Anaya, her brother James Morrissey Jr. of Kingston, NH and her niece Tara Santoro and her husband Frank of Chelmsford, MA.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 4pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service and interment will be held privately.
