Plaistow, NH:Sharon A. Schena, 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her home following a long battle with cancer.



She was born on February, 24, 1962 in Haverhill, MA daughter of the late George E. and Jeanette R. (Kierstead) Benjamin.She was raised and educated in Haverhill.



Sharon was a homemaker and a wonderful mother who enjoyed staying home to take care of her three boys.She enjoyed nature, especially gardening and feeding the birds.



Survivors include her husband Thomas W. Schena of Plaistow; two sons Thomas M. Schena of Haverhill, MA and Michael W. Schena and his wife Natasha of East Hampstead, NH; daughter-in-law Tara Correa of Los Angeles, CA; and one grand-daughter Serenity R. Schena.She was predeceased by her son George E. Schena.



Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday June 1, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.Burial will follow in Plaistow cemetery.
