Haverhill: Sharlene R. (Chambers) Noury, 65, a longtime resident of Haverhill and formerly of Exeter, NH, died peacefully on Sunday morning, June 20, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Calais, Maine, daughter of the late Percy and Beverly (Sherman) Chambers, she moved to Exeter, NH as a child and was educated in the Exeter School System, graduating from Exeter High School with the Class of 1973.

Sharlene was employed in the Food Service Department of The Haverhill School System for many years, and retired from the Haverhill High School Cafeteria.

An avid Bingo player, Sharlene also enjoyed card games, making pottery, spending her summers in Maine with her husband and sons at Sebago Lake and always celebrating her wedding anniversaries in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-three years, Richard D. Noury, two sons, Christopher D. Noury of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Matthew J. Noury and his wife Dena of Haverhill, grandchildren Nevaeh Noury and Maddie Noury of Haverhill, four sisters, Darlene Chambers of Portsmouth, NH, Debbie Mansfield of Raymond, NH, Judy Hatcher of Sebring, FL and Terry Chambers of Portsmouth, NH, a step brother Ray Wilbur of Perry, ME, and several aunts , uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, following the State of New Hampshire guidelines for social distancing and the wearing of masks. Her funeral service will follow at 7:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
