Plaistow, NH: Seth A. Callahan, 42, of Plaistow and New Boston, NH, died September 7, 2022 in New Boston.

Born in Exeter, NH, son of G. Carlton and Robin (Smith) Callahan, he was raised and educated in Plaistow, attending the Pollard School and Timberlane Regional High School. A self-employed carpenter, Seth operated S.C. Construction Co. and also worked for other local contractors.

Always mechanically inclined, Seth was very generous to others offering his skills and resources to those in need. He was very family oriented and was a devoted husband, father and son and as a couple he and his wife were known as "Sethica". He possessed a great sense of humor, but at the same time was a very humble man. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and traveling the east coast of the United States.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Jessica (Ordway) Callahan, a son, Connor C. Callahan and a daughter, Caylynn C. Callahan, both of Plaistow, his parents, G. Carlton and Robin (Smith) Callahan of Plaistow, a brother, Travis Callahan and his wife, Krystin of Raymond, two sisters, Natasha Demers and her husband, Michael of Nashua and Leah Callahan of Plaistow, his grandmother, Norma Smith of Atkinson, his father-in-law, Bruce Ordway of Chichester, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased in 2007 by his infant son, Carter S. Callahan.

Relatives and friends are invited to Seth's Life Celebration to be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will be held on Saturday September 17, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home and followed by burial in Atkinson Cemetery.  The family requests that instead of flowers, perennial plants be donated to be planted around the family home in memory of Seth or memorial donations be made to the Go-fundme account for the Callahan family children at HTTPS://gofund.me/93e61594 .
