Sean C. Lane, 62, of Plaistow passed away at home on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family. Sean was the beloved husband of Catherine (Boch) Lane with whom he shared 39 years of marriage.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on February 7, 1961 and was the son of the late William and Rosemary (Eldredge) Lane.

Sean was raised in Bradford, MA and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1979. He earned an associate degree in business management at Northern Essex Community College. Sean was employed at Arthur Sharp Hardware in Bradford, MA for over 30 years. Most recently he worked at Westville True Value Hardware in Plaistow. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and the New England Patriots. Sean loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Sean is survived by his children Eric Lane and his wife Hannah of Dover, NH and Meaghan DeMeo and her husband Robert of Amesbury, his grandchildren Jackson DeMeo, Lauren DeMeo, Ben DeMeo, and Cooper Lane, his siblings Michael Lane and his wife Linda , Barbara Lane, Patrick Lane and his wife Linda, and Peggy Sansoucie and her husband Brian, his mother-in-law Anne Pettengill and her husband Richard, his sisters-in-law Kristina Landry and her husband Jean, and Sheryl Lloyd and her husband Patrick. He also leaves behind his dear friend Tom Tannian and his wife Kathy, and many nieces and nephews.

Sean was sadly predeceased by his siblings Dennis Lane and Timothy Lane.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 10am – 12pm. His funeral service will follow at 12:15 at the funeral home. Interment at Plaistow cemetery.
