Atkinson, NH: Scott A. Krueger, 76, a resident of Atkinson for the last seven years, died June 12, 2024, in Boston, MA

Born in Elgin, Illinois, he was the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Schmittendorf) Krueger and graduated from Larkin High School in Elgin. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University and his MBA from Michigan State University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Scott was a marketing executive for baby product manufacturers and later he was a partner in Westwood Design.

He was a member of the VFW Post of Ashland, Ohio and the Atkinson Veterans' Club. A typical "car guy", Scott enjoyed auto racing and was a big fan of NASCAR and Formula One racing. He brought that enjoyment to another level when he took lessons to drive a formula four car.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of fifty-three years, Nancy J. (Brehm) Krueger, a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew S. and Tara Krueger of Amesbury, MA, a daughter and son-in-law, Kirstin L. and Kevin Kovach of Somerset, NJ, a brother and sister-in-law, Todd E. and Nancy Krueger, of LA, CA, two grandchildren Ava and Emerson Krueger.

An open house and celebration of Scott's life will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. A luncheon will follow in the reception area of the funeral home at 12:15. Burial with Military Honors will take place at 3 P.M. at The State of New Hampshire Veterans' Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
