Plaistow, NH: Scott P. Ellison, 60, of Plaistow, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief battle with brain cancer.

Born in Newburyport, MA, son of the late Winthrop "Plummer" Nelson, and the late Lillian Mae (Gardner) Fairweather, he attended local schools and was a member of the Newburyport High School Class of 1983.

Scott was a union carpenter employed at Central Ceilings in Boston and an avid Pats fan. Scott loved deep sea and ice fishing.

Scott will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Gina (Genualdo) Ellison, two daughters, Elizabeth Raleigh of Concord, NH, and Willow Ellison of Seabrook, NH, two step-daughters, Alexia Greenwood and Julia Greenwood, both of Plaistow, four brothers, Richard Fairweather of Malden, MA, Randy Fairweather and his wife Jamie of Seabrook, Shawn Fairweather of Newburyport, and Mark Ellison of Newburyport, four sisters, Jaqueline Murphy and her husband Shawn of Florida, Anne Clowes, of Alabama, Mildred Brown and her husband Bruce of Newburyport, and Julie White and her husband Mark of California, four grandchildren Roman, Saphira, Raina and Everleigh, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Timothy Fairweather and Lance Ellison, and two sisters, Linda Davis and Paula Marshall.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow.
