Hampton, NH: Scott B. (Collis) Adams, 65, of Hampton Beach, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Plaistow, after an extended illness.
Born in Hawthorne, CA, son of Bonner W. Adams and Elizabeth (Stevens) (Adams) Dickinson, he was educated in Torrance, CA and Las Vegas, Nevada, graduating Clark High School in Las Vegas. He was employed as a chauffeur at Regal Limousine Service of Portsmouth and had also worked at other limousine companies and at Raytheon.
A Friend of Bill, he enjoyed fishing, Rock n Roll music and the beach and was looking forward to the birth of his second grandson.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Shannon E. Berthiaume and her husband Michael, Allison A. Adams and her partner Corey Laponius, and Devon L. Adams and her partner, Aaron Lemire, all of Haverhill, his mother and step-father, Elizabeth (Stevens) and Ronald Dickinson of Plaistow, his father Bonner W. Adams and his partner Susan of Woodland Hill, CA, three sisters, Cynthia E. Adams of Centerville, MA, Valerie P. Adams of Atkinson, and Cathleen M. Collis and her partner Phil Mastriano of Sandown, grandchildren, Averey, Ella, Lyla, and Garrett, nephew Joey, nieces, Alicia, Jaymee and Faith, his former wife Laurie (Dunn) Adams, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother David H. Adams.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life to be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 and beginning at 1p.m at the Dickinson home , 10 Springview Terrace, Plaistow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH.
