Danville, NH: Sandra C. (Scott) Fortier, 76, a resident of Danville for the past forty years, died on October 21, 2014 at her home following a brief illness.
Born is Malden, MA and raised and educated in Saugus, daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Barrett) Scott, she graduated from Saugus High School with the Class of 1957.
A member of the Danville Baptist Church, Mrs. Fortier was employed as a greeter at Walmart in Plaistow, NH for the past fifteen years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank E. Fortier, and is survived by her sons, Steven R. Gabry and his wife Cathy Ramsey of Nashua, and Mark Gabry and his wife Bertha of Danville, a step-son, Paul Fortier and his wife Madeline of Wakefield, MA, a step-daughter, Leslie Mallon and her husband Jay of Sturbridge, MA, two brothers, Richard Scott and his wife Kris of Palm Coast, FL, and Wayne Scott of Quincy, MA, two grandchildren, Joshua Gabry and Amber Lavallee, two great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister Marsha Provost.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Fortier's Life Celebration on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Meeting House Cemetery, Danville, NH.
