Plaistow, NH: Sandra G. (Lang) (Jasper) Paquin, 82, of Plaistow, died January 26, 2020 at Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood.

Born in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Norton and Doris (Nason) Lang, she was raised in Haverhill and Groveland and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1955. She later graduated from the McIntosh Business College. As the former wife of a U.S. diplomat she was stationed overseas with him during the turbulent time of the Vietnam War.

Mrs. Paquin spent all of her working career in education administration. She was employed first as the Secretary to the Principal of the Bagnall School in Groveland, and later as the Administrative Secretary to the Superintendent of the Pentucket Regional School District. At the time of her retirement, she was employed as the Secretary of the North Elementary School of Salem, NH.

A longtime member of the Advent Christian Church of Haverhill, Mrs. Paquin served on multiple boards of the church and also served for thirty years as the Clerk of the Church.

She was devoted to her family and excelled at creating a warm and loving home for her large extended family, who enjoyed her home as the gathering place for holidays and special events. She delighted in decorating her home for the holidays and also enjoyed tending her flower gardens during the spring and summer months.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-one years, Richard M. Paquin, a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas B. and Kim Jasper of Fairbanks, Alaska, a daughter, Susan E. Thomson of Londonderry, two step-sons and their wives, David A. and Nancy Paquin of Dover and Paul R. and Tina Paquin of Derry, a step-daughter Linda (Paquin) St. Pierre and her husband David of Plaistow, a brother, Kenneth Lang and his wife Susan of Anchorage, Alaska, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a nephew. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fourth great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. Her funeral service will begin at 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, MA.
